Painting & Refurbishing old Projectors

Many planetariums around the world are still using a Spitz or some other type of optical mechanical projection, whereas digital projection must be replaced every 5 years with heavy use. These machines will continue to work indefinitely with the proper maintenance, and are the cornerstone to educating our youth about the stars and planets.

That being said, time still does take its toll on some of the components and cosmetics of these machines. If you are looking to give your machine a cosmetic and mechanical overhaul Ash can provide you with just that. We will disassemble and pack up your projector on site, so it can be cleaned.

Once it arrives at our facility it will be stripped and repainted, have troublesome optics and electronics replaced. We will even choose the colors you want, so it can match your planetarium. It will then be shipped back looking new, and Ash will reassemble it onsite to make sure that it is functioning better than new.

Ash also has other products we recommend to bring your machine into the modern digital era of seamless operation. Replacing a console with modern day console with digitally controlled/regulated voltage is probably the best thing you can do for your machine, and will ensure a seamless operation we all have come to expect from a modern day equipment.
