About Spitz, Inc.

Founded by legendary planetarium educator Armand Spitz in 1947, Spitz, Inc., a Cosm company, began as a provider of affordable optical planetarium projectors for schools and small educational institutions. Since then, Spitz has grown to become the world's leading supplier of planetariums and domes.

In addition to providing dome fabrication and installation, Spitz is a complete integrator of planetarium and spherical projection theaters - providing all aspects of dome theater design, including automation, lighting, audio engineering, and show production. No other company provides such comprehensive theater development services. No wonder that Spitz has provided dome screens and services to some of the most innovative planetariums and theaters in the world.

Located in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, Spitz is the world leader in production domes with over 2,000 installations worldwide. Throughout its 70+ year history, Spitz has continued to maintain its focus on educational products and services.
Further information about Spitz's screens for immersive theaters can be found at:  http://www.spitzinc.com

Ash is a certified dealer for all Spitz domes

The projection surface of a dome screen requires a precise "paneling" process. A uniform optical surface is essential to create realistic immersive projection. Spitz's screen surface is made up of precisely curved, perforated aluminum panels, attached to a structural frame. Spitz offers three paneling methods to accommodate different budgets and display requirements.
